Privacy Policy

 

General
1. The Zaki Kamal Law Office (hereinafter: “the Organization“) respects the privacy of users entering the Organization’s website (hereinafter: “the Site“). The purpose of the terms set out in this privacy policy, which form an integral part of the terms of use, is to review, among other things, the manner in which the Organization stores and uses information provided to it by users on the Site and/or collected by it or on its behalf during use of the Site.
2. Use of the Site indicates agreement to the provisions of the privacy policy as well as the terms of use. If you do not agree to the terms of the privacy policy or the terms of use, please refrain from using the Site or contact us so that we may assist you through alternative means.
3.    The Organization may change the provisions of its privacy policy from time to time, in order to reflect technological and/or business and/or legal and/or regulatory changes and the like. In such a case, the changes will be updated in this document and published on the Site. Continued use of the Site by the user after the changes are made will indicate agreement to these changes, and therefore the Organization recommends reviewing this privacy policy from time to time.
4.    All definitions and terms in the privacy policy shall be identical to those appearing in the terms of use, unless the context requires otherwise.
5.    The privacy policy is worded in the masculine form for convenience only and is addressed to women and men alike. 

Registration, submission and retention of information
6. In order to use the Site and/or to contact the Organization, the user may be required to provide the Organization with certain personal details about themselves. These details may include, as necessary and among other things, the user’s full name, their email address and mobile phone number (hereinafter: “the Information“).
7.    It is noted that the Information collected by the Organization, or provided to it by the user, as set out in this privacy policy, will be used by the Organization, including for all of its activities and services and/or any other activity under the control or ownership of the Organization, in the present or in the future.
8. It is hereby clarified that the user is under no legal obligation to provide the said Information, and that the provision of the Information depends on their will and consent in order to receive the Organization’s services and/or the Site. The user may contact the Organization and request to review and correct the Information about them, all in accordance with the ‘Contact and access to information’ section detailed below. 
9. Below are the procedures according to which the Organization operates in collecting and using the details about the user. It should be emphasized that the Organization attaches great importance to protecting the user’s privacy, and makes considerable efforts to properly safeguard the information provided to it.

Collection and use of information
10. The Organization uses the information collected about you, by it and/or on its behalf and/or by other entities that have transferred to it the information about you in accordance with and subject to the permissions granted by you, including data about your location when using the services, for the following purposes:
10.1. Contacting the user, insofar as the user’s approach is for the purpose of being contacted by the Organization.
10.2. Monitoring and analyzing the Site for ongoing operation, as well as for the technical management of the Site and detecting and examining cases of suspected misuse.
10.3. Storing the information in the Organization’s databases and/or on its behalf with entities authorized and secured for this purpose. Subject to the applicable law, by browsing the Site, the user grants the Organization permission to store the information collected about them in its databases, in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy.
10.4. To the extent it wishes, the Organization may approach the user with messages, questionnaires and surveys regarding the services provided to them, for the purpose of monitoring and improving the quality of service.
 10.5. In order to comply with the provisions of the law applicable to the Organization, including the instructions and directives of any competent authority.
Disclosure of information about you to third parties
11.  The Organization takes reasonable and accepted measures to protect against the leakage of personal details identifying the user to third parties. The Organization will not sell and/or rent and/or transfer the information about the user, in whole or in part, to any third party, without obtaining their explicit consent to do so.
12. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Organization shall be entitled to disclose the information about the user, in whole or in part, to any third parties subject to the following conditions:
12.1.  Disclosure of the information or part of it to certain parties is necessary for the provision of the Organization’s services and/or ancillary services provided by suppliers and/or subcontractors acting in the name of or on behalf of the Organization, and/or by the Organization’s partners and/or for the purposes of information security and identification of the user, all in accordance with this privacy policy. It should be emphasized that, unless stated otherwise, suppliers and/or subcontractors have no right to use this information beyond the purpose for which the Organization provides it.
12.2.  The Organization shall provide the information as necessary or as required by law or in legal proceedings, including a dispute, claim, suit, demand or legal proceedings, if any, between the user and the Organization and/or anyone on its behalf.
12.3.  In the event that the Organization finds that the actions of the user and/or anyone on their behalf in the services breach the terms of use, or are carried out for the purpose of committing fraud of any kind.
12.4.  In accordance with the user’s request and/or with their consent.
12.5.  Due to a judicial order and/or a demand from a competent authority to provide the information, and subject to any law.
12.6. In any case in which the Organization believes that the provision of the information is necessary to prevent serious harm to the Organization and/or to other users and/or third parties and/or in order to prevent other serious harm, in accordance with its full and sole discretion.
Information security
13.  The Organization regards the information security of its users and clients as a supreme value and invests considerable resources in securing the confidentiality of the information. In this framework, the Organization takes all reasonable steps to secure the information provided by a user. The user is aware that the Organization devotes resources and takes stringent measures to prevent intrusion into the Site and to thwart possible harm to the privacy of users.
14. At the same time, it is clarified that the Organization’s systems, by their very nature being based on software, hardware and communication networks, are exposed to the risks inherent in systems of this kind, including malicious software (viruses, Trojan horses and the like), interception of communication lines, hacking by hostile parties, impersonation of the company’s sites or any of the systems, and other online frauds. The Organization invests considerable efforts in protecting against these risks, but nevertheless, absolute blocking is not possible and damage and/or losses may occur as a result of the materialization of any of the risks.
15.  The Organization keeps up to date on an ongoing basis with technological developments in order to provide users with the best protection against intrusion and/or hacking, including unauthorized entry into its databases. At the same time, the Organization clarifies that in cases which are not under its control and/or arise from force majeure, it does not undertake that the Site will operate in an orderly manner without any disruption and/or that the Site and/or the information and data collected and/or provided as stated above will be absolutely immune against unauthorized access and/or intrusion into the Organization’s databases, and that the user is aware that the Organization shall not bear any liability for any damage and/or loss, direct or indirect, of any kind, caused as a result, including due to a breach of privacy. 

Use of cookies (Cookies)

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, including pixels, for the purpose of operating the site, improving the browsing experience, statistical analyses, and adapting content to the user’s preferences. Some of the cookies and pixels are operated by third-party service providers
 Google Analytics, etc., which may process non-identifying information including IP address, browser data and browsing habits, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
The use of cookies is conditional upon your explicit consent; you are entitled not to approve or to withdraw your consent at any time. (Cookie usage preferences can be managed at any time through the browser settings.) Please note that if you refuse or block the use of cookies – some of the services on the site may not function properly, and this will affect the quality and availability of the services on it.

Contact and access to information
16. To correct this information if it is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate. In order to exercise this right, a request must be sent to the Organization through one of the contact details listed below.
17.  A person wishing to review the information about them held in the Organization’s databases shall submit to the owner of the database or its holder a written request in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Conditions for Reviewing Information and Rules of Procedure in an Appeal Against a Refusal of a Review Request), 5741-1981, in which the personal details (name and identity number) of the applicant shall be specified, an indication of the details they wish to review, and their signature or the signature of their authorized representative (accompanied by the power of attorney).
18. The person requesting the review may review the information, in a printout or a display, at the locality in which the database is located and at an hour of the day set by the Organization for this purpose, provided that the date falls within 30 days from the day the review request was received.
19. If it is found that there are grounds to refuse the review request for reasons of security, classification privilege and the like, the Organization shall respond to the person requesting the review within 21 days.
20. You are entitled by law to demand the correction of an error made in a record relating to you if the information about you is incorrect, incomplete, unclear or not up to date.
21. Insofar as the request to correct information is approved, the Organization shall correct the information in its relevant databases in accordance with the request and shall notify of the correction anyone who received the information about you from databases within three years prior to the date of correction.
